　　本话题侧重于对乡村和城市的描述，难点在于对不同地区人的描述，比如：City people tend to accept new stuff faster than country people; country people tend to be modest, humble and honest compared with city residents.

　　Q1:Have you ever lived in the countryside?

　　I haven’t had the opportunity to live in the countryside for a long period of time since I have spent most of my life in urban areas. Nevertheless, my grandparents live in the suburb of Beijing and it is common for us to visit them, especially on holidays. The lifestyle there is very peaceful and we don’t need to worry too much about the hustle and bustle of city life.

　　There are a wide range of schools and educational facilities in large cities, especially when it comes to higher education, which may be in shortage in the countryside. A wide range of hospitals, clinics and medical professionals tend to be widespread in metropolitan areas whereas rural areas normally have a shortage of them. Transportation in metropolises is commonly more developed and provides greater options such as subways, buses and airports, which is not ordinary in small towns.

　　Q4:Which place is more beautiful, the city or the countryside?

　　To be honest, the countryside has more natural beauty, such as mountains, hills, rivers, lakes, grasslands and deserts. Most cities portray a different concept of beauty since they contain countless skyscrapers, which light up the nighttime landscapes. As for me, I prefer the natural beauty of rural areas since they are relatively untouched by humans.
