本题为本季度的新题，很对考生没有思路。实际上可以考虑套用以往旧题的素材。比如旧题"特殊场合穿的衣服（a piece of clothing you worn on a special occasion）"可以说一件正装（formal suit），或者毕业典礼穿的学士服（cap and gown），买来了穿了一次，平时也不怎么穿。

考生要注意本题的时态使用，前三问要注意使用过去式，最后一问可以回归一般现在时。

How do you deal with items you don’t use anymore? 

思路点拨

可以举出不同的处理方法并附带例子。如:用旧了需要更新的电子产品（electronic devices）可以拿去以旧换新（trade-in）；看过的书籍可以捐赠（donate）给贫困地区的儿童（children in poor area）；当然如果是过期的物品（expired products），比如药品，就只能丢掉了（throw away）。

2.被骗的经历

Describe a time that someone didn’t tell you whole truth about something.

You should say:

When this happened 

What the situation was 

Who you were with

And explain why this person didn’t tell you the whole truth

思路点拨

内容的选取可以是比较善意的谎言，例如家人生病隐瞒病情（conceal sb’s condition)，生日惊喜派对（surprise party）等；也可以是恶意的欺骗，如恋爱或生意上“脚踏两条船”（have a foot in two camp）等。

按照题目要求说完四点之后，如果时间仍有剩余，可以再谈谈自己被隐瞒之后的感想。

Why do people lie sometimes?

思路点拨

考生可以将题目中的lie进行分类，如善意的谎言（white lie）和谎言（lie）。那么说white lie的原因就是出于善意（good intentions），而有一些lie却只是为了自己的利益（sb.’s own interests)
