托福独立写作高分之时间策略（四）

上一讲我们讲到写作的开头写法，有头就有尾，此讲我们着重讲讲结尾。这里面主要介绍两种方式来完成议论文结尾应该包含的内容。
上面我们提到的题目：
Do you agree or disagree with the following statement?
Students should be given one long vacation each year instead of several short vacation periods.
Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer.

在结尾段，我们可以有以下两种策略。
策略一：总结在之前论证段上提及的论据
[Summarize the arguments presented]

In considering vacation frequency and duration, I have explored issues such as better rest periods; improved chances of getting short-term employment; and more effective learning during actual semesters at school. These factors lead me to believe that a single vacation period of longer duration would be preferable to a schedule of several shorter vacations throughout the year.

策略二：添加转折，显示论证的客观性
[Summarize the arguments presented
+ Insert concession statements/clauses]

In considering vacation frequency and duration, I have explored issues such as better rest periods; improved chances of getting short-term employment; and more effective learning during actual semesters at school. These factors may not be persuasive to all students, but they lead me personally to believe that a single vacation period of longer duration would be preferable to a schedule of several shorter vacations throughout the year.
