小编整理了2016年11月19日托福口语前瞻预测,分享给大家。

Task1
Describe a tool or object that you rely on often in your daily life. Explain why it is important to you. Include reasons and examples to support your response.
The tool that I rely on often in my daily life is definitely the cellphone.  Firstly, I do everything on my cellphone. I am a college student. All my class schedules are on my phone. Sometimes I take audio notes in a class that might be going to quickly for me which helps me to have a good command of the lecture greatly.  Also, when it comes to communication, cellphones are extremely significant for me. Especially in the case of an emergency. I can call or send text messages to get help or stay in touch with my parents and friends.

Task2
Do you agree or disagree with the following statement. Children should start school before the age of 5 or 6? Explain why. Please include details and examples in your explanation.
I think that five-year olds are old enough to start school for the following reasons. First, studying is easy. If they go to college, most classes are quite difficult. For them, it’s different. Children don’t have to know how to translate scholastic English into plain and simple Chinese or figure out calculus equations. All they need to do is reading after teachers and you get high mark. Second, with the right amount guidance and adult supervision, five-year olds are perfectly capable of taking care of themselves in schools.

Task3
From the reading, a student has proposed that the school should rescind the “No Beverage” policy. Firstly, students need drinks to refresh themselves after a long period of study with the final exam coming up. Secondly, they will be careful and not spill on library materials.
However, in the conversation, the girl totally disagrees with the proposal.  She states that there is a coffee shop right beside the library. It has the same opening hours as the library. Students can enjoy their coffee and have a nice walk after a long study. In addition, students do not spill coffee on purpose. Accidents happen, especially when they are focused on thinking something else. They are likely to spill coffee or tea on expensive books or computers. So the “No Beverage” rule is right.

Task 4
Egocentric is used to describe individuals who are unwilling or unable to think any need or opinion of others except their own. Children from two to six will demonstrate this tendency even in cases of physical perception.
In the lecture, the professor takes one example to explain it.
A little boy played with a ball which has the blue color and red color. Then a researcher asked him which color each side was. The boy answered correctly. After that, researcher sat opposite of the boy and let the boy could only see the blue side of the ball. The researcher asked the boy what side the researcher was looking at. The boy’s answer was blue. The experiment was repeated several times but the boy’s answer did not change. So we know that at that young age, the children can’t think of others’ opinions. Even if the question is what color the ball is. The child will reply the color he was looking at.

Task5
In the conversation, the boy Tom has a problem. He has a reading club to attend at 7 tonight. But around the same time, he should go to the airport to pick up his old friend Watson.
There are two possible solutions to the problem. The first one is to take part in the reading next week. The second one is to pick up his friend after the reading club.
I prefer the first solution. Because they will discuss Whitman, his favorite writer, he should not miss that. As for his friend, I believe Watson will understand him. Tom will only be a little bit late. It’s no big deal.

Task6
The professor mainly explains two behaviors of tropical animals.
The first one is searching for food alone. For example, apes need a large amount of food. If they go hunting with mates, they will have a big conflict when the result is little. So they will go out alone and own the food 100 percent.
The second behavior is sending warning calls to protect their territories. They need a large territory to ensure food resources. For example, howlers will send a screeching when other animals enter their territory. So other animals will leave the range.
