雅思口语Part1:Neighbours
Q1.How well do you know the people who live next door to you?
A1.Now I live in a flat I rent, only myself. There are a couple living next door to me. The man is very tall, always in a black suit; the woman is really, really slim. We say hello to each other when we meet, you know, like, in the morning, when everybody goes to work, and, you just meet some of your neighbours in the lift. But that’s it.
Q2. How often do you see them (why/why not?)?
A2.Actually I see them quite often. As I mentioned, every morning when I go to work, I always bump into them, and we then will take the same lift to go down to the ground floor. In the evening, when I’m on my way back to the flat, I may also see them, sometimes the two of them, sometimes just one.
Q3. What kind of problems do people sometimes have with their neighbours?
A3.Wwe may have noise problems coz the rooms are not soundproof enough and since, probably, privacy problems.
Q4. How do you think neighbours can help each other?
A4. Well, as people live next to each other, be it flats or houses, neighbourhood means taking care of each other. They can help each other in many different ways such as receiving mails, looking after pets, etc.. Most importantly, a balanced neighbourhood is about respecting each other in every way and do what you are capable of doing for your neighbours.
