Task1 - Nowadays robots are widely used in society. What are the benefits or risks of this?
　　Response tips:
　　Benefits:
　　①robots work more efficiently
　　②robots are easier to manage, hiring them can reduce HR cost
　　③robots can deal with many dangerous jobs such as fireman, soldiers...etc.
　　Risks:
　　①Robots have to be programmed, they are not flexible
　　②If robots get to do all the jobs, it might cause unemployment for humans
　　③Robots might become more and more intelligent (or more like humans) and in turn replace humans or cause ethical dilemmas. (many Hollywood movies are related to this area)

　　Task2 - Some people think it’s necessary to finish reading the whole book before reading a new one. Others think not. What’s your opinion?
　　Response tips:
　　Agree:
　　①强调精读的好处: Only by reading the whole book can students assimilate knowledge, many tests nowadays focus on details
　　②Rushing into reading many books at the same time can cause undesirable results(很适合举个反例，比如自己曾经同时看很多学科书籍结果导致类似捡芝麻丢西瓜临考忘光的情况)
　　Disagree:
　　①强调读书需分类: Most people finish reading books, like literature works because it’s the way it’s supposed to be read. But for, maybe reference books, you just use the index to find whatever information you need.
　　②Most people, no matter clock punchers or students, have tight schedule. It’s not wise to finish reading all books.

　　Task3
　　学校剧院为了增加盈利，决定向学生征收和外宾一样的票价，director表示即使如此，这个价位还是比镇上其他剧院的票价合理。女生反对这一决议。首先，她常去剧院，经常只有一些学生在看演出，所以改变票价与否影响不大。其次，尽管价格跟其他剧院相比较低，但对于学生，尤其是艺术专业学生而言还是很难支付得起，因为他们被要求看很多演出。
　　Task4
　　动物会发出警告来提醒同类躲避天敌。教授提到了一种猴和一种鸟。猴会用不同的声音来提醒同类出现了不同的捕猎者。而鸟和猴有鹰这一共同的天敌，所以鸟类可以听懂猴发出的这种警报声。
　　Task5
　　女生历经千辛万苦进了女篮队，但是这学期她有6门课，schedule很紧张她会很累。她的第一个方案是退队，第二方案是退掉一些课。退课不影响她的毕业，但是会让她无法提高GPA。
　　Task6
　　教授讲了Regular flooding的两个好处。一方面，洪水会带来利于crop生长的silt(淤泥);另一方面，洪水可以直接浇灌亟需水源的crop。
