【教师讲坛】你会正确运用短语吗？！

写作中同学们常常会觉得短语不会用，以至于常常写出中国式的原创短语，从而影响写作分数。如下这篇学生作文：

Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? Life today is easier and more comfortable than it was when your parents were children.

The first convincing reason for my statement is that modern people now face  ( 可以改为are subject to 遭受着…) high-pressured lifestyle and fierce competition. There are occasions on which people have to work hard in order to afford to heavy loan from the bank and raise family. In current society, employe s will lose their (are likely to 可替换will,can 等)job if the cannot stand out in the workplace. When they feel peer pressure so that you have to relieve stress by drinking wines, participating in extreme exercise and even committing to crime, which is bad to（exert …influence on 对…影响不好的） public’s physics and psychology well-being. By contrast, the authority provides sufficient decent jobs for adults and my parents live by a rule they were children.

以上段落中，学生可以把面临着遭受着（问题）的have,替换成 be subject to,同样也是遭受的意思，可以理解成 suffer from. 另外， will ,can ,should等情态动词可以换成 be likely to, tend to , be supposed to等委婉点的词； 同学们在写作中总是会很习以为常的按照中文思路翻译出来自己想表达的，如 对…有坏处，自己写成be bad for,这是非常口语，甚至不正确的表达方法，可以改成exert …influence on . 下面这些句子同学们可以练习看看，写完之后可以结合参考答案，自己是否用正确的短语？

不可否认，因特网的普及使人们业余生活变得比以前丰富，人们可以浏览网页，查资料和看电影等。

一个令人烦恼的趋势/ 长时间看手机或电脑/有害身心。

所以，想正确运用短语，就是注意平时不断积累，并且勇于练习，并勇于把短语运用到平时的自己写作中去!
