媒体广告类话题思路参考

观众角度

利：观众们(individuals/citizens)能通过短视频或传单(video ads or leaflets)直观地了解产品信息，进行产品对比，日常消费从而可以省时高效。

弊：老年人和青少年容易受虚假广告蒙骗(be vulnerable to)，尤其是网络上的弹窗广告(pop-ups),带来经济损失，更糟糕的是，其产品可能有害身体健康。

经济角度

利：①对于生产商/商家来说——精美的广告能刺激消费者的购买欲望，扩大潜在的消费群体，能够带来更多收入(profit);②对于广告行业来说——广告业的发展使得行业人才需求增加，比如，广告设计师、文案策划(copywriter)等，一定程度上能够提供就业机会。

弊：不良商家或广告商为了谋取利益，可能发布虚假广告，败坏(undermine)行业风气。

社会意义

①促进文化传播，原因是广告能够将其中的文化元素(culture elements)大范围传播，尤其是视频广告特别深入人心(deeply root among people)。比如：可口可乐的广告代表了西方饮食文化，同理，麦当劳的广告则是西方快餐文化的经典。

②一些公益广告(public-interest)的发布，能带来正能量(arouse positive energy)，利于建设和谐社会(build a harmonious society)，如：禁烟广告(anti-smoking ads)能起到提醒烟民(heavy smokers)爱惜个人健康，远离吸烟的作用。
