雅思口语Part1:Museum
Q1.Do you like going to museums or art galleries?
A1.Yes, I like it very much. Every time I visit a museum, I get quite excited coz I can learn lots of things I've never known before. For instance, in natural history museums, I see specimens of various creatures, which give me opportunities to watch every detail closely. In paleontology museums, instead, you'll find all kinds of fossils and skeletons of prehistoric animals and plants, which record the beginning and development of life.
Q2.In general, do you think schools should organize trips to museums and art galleries for students?
A2.I do think so.Visiting museums could enhance students’ learning experience. It enables them to see, to hear, to smell or even, sometimes, to touch the things that they can only read in the text books at school. Thus it makes learning more fun.
Q3.What do you think is the role of museums and art galleries?
A3.Museums are of great educational significance and this significance does not lie in only the education of the individuls. A more important aspect of them is that they make the education of the public as a whole possible. Besides they are the shelters of the priceless items being displayed.Without their protection these could have been weathered and eroded.
Q4.Why do people visit museums when they can see pictures of the same things in books?
A4, Today the key word of most museums is ‘Experience’, and when we talk about experience, we mean all the five senses are involved. In other word, today's visitors are no longer satisfied with reading some texts, or, seeing certain pictures, which are just the visual part of the experience. They expect more, like watching 3D movies, attending lectures, touching the replicas, playing interactive games, etc., etc.
