雅思写作开头段思考方法

 雅思写作被认为是雅思考试里最难学习的一项，也是中国考生最弱的一项。而究其原因，无外乎语法问题、审题扣题不准、用词不准确地道（中式）、拓展不具体或逻辑不够清晰连贯等几个方面不足。对雅思大作文而言，虽然开头结尾并不是非常重要，但同样难倒了不少烤鸭们，而其中很重要的原因就是依赖模板而拒绝主动思考。今天我们就来谈谈开头段的思考方法和相应练习。

开头段通常包含三个部分，背景＋话题＋个人观点，其中背景和个人观点是可以选择省略的，而背景是我建议学生一定会舍弃的部分，因为没有太大的必要性，反而显得拖沓不够简洁。

常见的模版有，peoplestillhavemixedviewsonwhether…, there is a phenomenon about…, the issue of whether… has received much public attention等等，这些模版由于太机械化，而且覆盖面太大，导致虽然能扣在不同的题目上，但是与具体题目的关联度太低，并不像是一篇文章有机的组成部分，就像一身红衣配了一顶绿帽子，不搭。而学生依赖这些模版的原因主要有两个，一点是学生在以前的学习中养成了只是背诵不主动思考的习惯，并且基础太弱，而另外一点是他们并不知道这是会影响分数的。

那么如何写开头句？主要注意三点：

l   针对题目写一个客观事实或现象

2   使用简单和准确的句子

3   运用地道词组和表达

1     强调某个事物对我们很重要或者有影响

题目1：Some people think music plays an important role in our society. Others think it is only a form of individual entertainment. Discuss both sides and give your own opinion.

开头句：Listening to music or playing musical instruments is a popular hobby.

题目2: some people think that men and women have different qualities. Therefore, some certain jobs are suitable for men and some jobs are suitable for women. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

 开头句：women play an increasingly important role in the workforce. 

2     强调某个变化或者现象是好事

题目1：Rich countries often give financial aid to poor countries, but is does not solve poverty, so rich countries should give other types of help to the poor countries rather than financial aid. To what extend do you agree or disagree?

开头句：International aid has made a positive difference to some Third World countries.

题目2：Developments of technologies are causing environmental problems. Some people think the solution is that everyone accepts a simpler life, while others believe that technology can solve these problems. Discuss both views and give your own opinion.

 开头句：Technology has revolutionised the ways we live our lives.

3        强调某个变化或者现状是坏事

题目1：Some groups, such as poor people and people from rural areas, think universities should make it especially easy for them to get access to university education. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

开头句：Many children from poor homes or rural areas have limited access to education.

题目2：Somepeoplethinkit is necessary to use animals for testing medicines intended for human use. Others, however, think it is cruel to do that. Discuss both views and give your own opinion.

开头句：Animal testing has become pervasive and presented a challenge to animal welfare.

开头句之后，就要写话题句和表达观点句。观点句大家非常熟悉了，如in myopinion/personally/from my perspective, I believe/think/hold/am in favor of等等，在此就不再赘述。而最重要的（on topofthis），还是话题的引入能反应学生的英文表达能力和词伙积累。

例1：In schools and universities, girls tend to choose arts subjects, while boys choose science subjects. What is the reason? Should the trend be changed?

话题句：It seems that there are substantial gender differences in choosing subjects at school.

这句就很准确地转述了题目所讲的topic，即不同性别对选课呈现出的差异。而不是简单地按照题目的语序和结构，去表达“男生更喜欢…而女生更喜欢…”的意思。

例2：Some people think that the amount of noise people make have to be controlled strictly, others say that people are free to make as much as they wish. Discuss both sides and give your opinion.

话题句：We are exposed to different kinds of noise every day, which can break our concentration and disturb our work.

题目是讨论双边类，一般而言，同学们会选择“some people support that, while others argue”这样的结构转述题目的内容，而这几乎与题目是一样的结构。但仔细审题后会发现，题目中包含对于amountofnoise的definition不清楚的争议，因此通过点出这一核心关键词（noise的分类讨论），以及对它进行适当的评价即可。

例3：In the last century, the first man to walk on the moon said it was "a giant leap for mankind”. However, some people think it has made little difference to our daily lives. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

话题句：It is often argued that the act of sending a man to the moon has been of no benefit to normal people.

对于argument题型，只要转述质疑的那句话的意思即可，所以表达出“登月对部分人而而言并未对生活造成太大变化”就行了，而“has been of no benefit to”与“has made little difference to”的同义替换，以及“the act of sending a man to the moon”与“it”的同义替换都很好地做到了这一点。
