The bar chart apparently depicts the change comparison of the Internet-accessing places involving four different sites: Home, Work, College　and Library, in 1998, 2000, 2002 and 2004.

Generally speaking, there are three different trends in this graph:　increasing trend, decreasing trend and stable trend.

Specifically, home-accessing proportion remained stable at around fifty　percent during this time period in spite of experiencing a slight decline from　1998 to 2000. It always located at the first place and was substantially bigger than others. Similarly, college-surfing rate also had no significant change from　1998 to 2004, its digits leveled off at approximately 20 percent.

By contrast, this time period witnessed a gradual descent of the ratio of　people surfing the Internet in workplace from nearly 30 percent in 1998 to less　than 20 percent in 2004, which maintained the second place until it surpassed　by college-surfing rate.

Adversely, the percentage on Library represented the steeply ascent, its figure (10 percent) is just one-third and half of that of Work and College,　respectively in 1998, while, this proportion had been roughly equal to the data　of other two places in 2004.
