超实用 托福写作用词贴【附写作模版】

对于托福写作的用词，短期内只能把控可把控的部分，包括body段的主题句，body段内部论证衔接，以及开头段。秉承这个原则，分别来说说用词。

关于托福作文的主题句，常用到的表达多涉及：促进，带来，引发，导致，使能够，重要，关键，不能...，使稳固，加强，确保等动词。

define 定义，下标准

1）当表达：一个好的A需要有B/ 一个好的A需要是B这样的，如：一个好老师需要够耐心 ——A good teacher should have patience/ should be patient。

英文框架：a good n should have n / be adj。可转述为：Patience defines one of the good characteristics of a good teacher.例如： Doing a part time job defines one of the good ways to build a social network.同理，在表达  determine 决定   /   depend on 取决于，这样的概念时，也可以套用。

The capability of communication skill determines whether or not he is a qualified politician.
　　The capability of communication skill defines whether or not he is a qualified politician.

define  局限，分清楚

表达：A不等于B时可替换；A does not equal B  =   A does not define B
　　表达：A自身凸显出来，通过做...
　　The communication skill defines a successful politician from those normal ones by gathering the support from all the colleagues.

facilitate   使...容易  

同类还有如：spur  prod  stimulate   刺激  促进  促使
　　A thorough understanding about how to communicate can facilitate the politician's career.
　　A thorough understanding on communication skill can spur the development of the politician's career.

trigger 引发

同类还有如：产生 engender  /  generate the consequence that；导致  cause / lead to ；

complete 完成，使圆满，使完整；表达A对B很重要时可替换：A well-paid job completes a major part of one's happiness.同理可用组成类词汇：component   /   consist of：A well-paid job is a major component of one's happiness。Several things, among which a well-paid job is particularlly crucial, consist of one's happiness.

acquire  realize  achieve  obtain  attain 实现、获得，只说一点，不要随意的再用have、get 这样的词了。另外关于development  可以替换为boom v/n， prosper v，prosperous    adj ， prosperity  繁荣，flourish  thrive  v  繁荣。

关于understanding 可替换为comprehension  cognition  认知；awareness  意识；be aware of 对...有意识；
　　关于beneficial 和 do good to，可替换为influence possitively   产生+有利影响 或 带来+好的结果  。

关于important

可以替换词本身如：crucial    elementary    core    cardinal    fundamental    irreplaceable  等；也可改变形式：A is important to B  =   A is of great importance to B  =  A is of crucial importance to B；也可转述为：For A's ___, B is of crucial importance.

For a politician's career, communication skill is of crucial importance.有时也可表达为：A cannot survive without B；A offers an necessary incentive for B to grow/boom/prosper。在作文当中，若想使句子变长，有一个用词原则  n > v > adj。因为每次把adj变成n之后，都需要在n前加上额外的动词。

关于写作万用理由

交朋友-- enlarge social circle  /  extend the social network  / solidify the connection between me and
　　放松身心--relieve the stress  / cleanse the burden
　　带来欢乐--带来参照前面   fulfillment  satisfaction
　　拓展视野--enlarge the vision  / broaden the horizon  /  enrich the knowledge
　　方便   convenience 
　　时间--加速进程  speed up the process  
   　减少时间浪费  reduce the amount of time people waste on it
　　健康--确保  restore the energy 精力 
　　环保--减少环境污染--largely release the burden on the environment-- largely lessen the contamination of the environment
　　未来、梦想 --加固the preparation for n；close the distance to the realization of my future dream；build up a solid foundation for the future...

关于情态动词

附一个简单的托福让步式模板

题目：should government preserve old and historical buildings or build new housing?

Often viewed____by the public for its function of _____, _____ does not ______. Several factors, such as ___ , ____ as well as ____ contribute to this issue. Therefore, i note that ____.

Often viewed consiliative by the public for its function of bringing back all those childhood memory, preserving old and historical buildings does not complete a qualified government. Several factors, such as solving the living problems for the general civilians, spuring the local economy as well as raising the fund for city infrastructure contribute to this issue. Therefore, i note that  government made the wise choice if they choose A over B.

解释：

空格1：adj，正向
　　空格2：不选择的那面的功能，空格12之间需要有一定关联，如果找不到，空格1填beneficial这样的大范围词。
　　空格3：不选择的那么
　　空格4：根据条件涉及选择或套用万能fulfill everything / generate more benefits / put sth into a better place
　　空格5，6，7：同意面的三个理由的概述
　　空格8：观点转述

此写作模板适用于托福写作在22分左右徘徊的同志，写不到20分以上。
