SSAT阅读简介

SSAT ，即为Secondary School Admission Test，美国中学入学考试。

针对不同年龄的学生，SSAT考试分为高级（upper level）和低级（lower level），前者针对目前就读8-11年级的学生，后者针对目前就读5-7年级的学生。SSAT包括写作，阅读，词汇及数学四个科目，考试时间分布基本如下：

Writing                 25mins

Break                  5mins

Section 1：Quantitative   30mins

Section 2：Reading       40mins

Break：                10mins

Section 3: Verbal         30mins

Section 4: Quantitative    30mins

Total testing time: 2 hours, 35 minutes (not including breaks)

注意: 阅读部分一般包含8到10篇文章，前两篇是最简单的，一定要完成。从第三篇开始可以有选择的性的完成，因为阅读部分设置了远远多于规定时间即40分钟可以完成的阅读量及阅读题目，考生必须有选择的完成自己擅长的篇章及题目，才能取得最好的分数。
