举例雅思口语考试中常用的加分习语

1.stand out.

这个表达的英文解释是：If somebody stands out, they are easy to see because there is something unusual about the way they look or the way they behave.

中文意思就是“突出”的意思。

下面咱们看一个例句：One of my sons says he likes people to notice him, and his green hair certainly makes him stand out in a crowd.

在本季口语话题中有这样一个话题：What kind of people become famous? 有一些同学会想说，那些有才能的人会出名，这样的答案我们如何说出来？

英文意思是If you've got the gift of the gab, or the gift of gab, you have the natural ability to talk in a way that people find entertaining or persuasive.

中文意思是能说会道，口齿伶俐。

举个例子：If you want to be a politician, you'll do much better if you were born with the gift of gab.
