托福口语不考这道题算我输

对比一下我们可以看到：

task2还是那个task2，即paired choices，比如有一句statement你选择同意或不同意，或两个东西你更倾向选择哪一个。但task1有所变化，传统的task1是属于open choices的题目，不给选项限制的，比如“Talk about a book you have read that was important to you for some reasons”,但今年的考题以前的高频话题“人事地物”都不见了，而是无一例外地变成了三选一，即使再拿几道真题出来，基本上也都是三选一，似乎已经容不下open choices题目的存在了，但很多同学在面对三选一的题目还是和open choices一样的答法，所以很难拿高分，那今天我们就来聊聊三选一的题该怎么答。

以2.18号的真题为例：

Which of following aspects do you think contributes most to country's success? 1. Many business opportunities 2. Well rounded medical care system 3. A developed educational system.

这道题很多同学会这样答，他会选择一个比如many business opportunities，然后回答两点business opportunities给国家带来的好处，比如：

1. 促进经济增长 to boost economic growth

2. 更多更好的工作机会 better job opportunities

然后每个理由给一点细节就大功告成，自我感觉良好了。

但这样其实不会得到高分，因为你没有答其所问，

再看一遍题目，注意审题：

Which of following aspects do you think contributes most to a country's success?

1. Many business opportunities

2. Well rounded medical care system

3. A developed educational system.

题目问的是那一个对国家的成功贡献最大，题干中要你做比较，但你的回答体现不出任何比较。但很多同学会困惑，45秒的时间要比较三个选项，没时间啊，做不到啊!

不要害怕，我们是有小技巧的。你不需要三个选项都说一次，这样会很混乱，而且你也不一定能找到比较的点。我的建议是先找到三个选项之间的联系，总结一下可以有两种联系

1. 因果关系

2.包含关系。

对于这道题来说，我认为选择a developed educational system更好答，因为它和前面两个选择可以构成因果关系，如果教育水平发达了，我们可以培养出更多商业人才，他们可以创造更多business opportunities;如果教育水平发达了，医疗相关专业的学生可以获得更先进的知识、更全面的资源，也就更有能力对医疗发展、医保体系的完善做出贡献。人是一切的根本。这样的答案有比较，有逻辑，内容也不会太多而导致超时。

那么接下来我给大家一个sample answer:

Personally, I think a developed educatioanl system ccontributes most to a country's success. To a great extent, creating bussiness opportunities and well-rounded medical care system both rely on people, therefore educating people is the most fundamental thing. For one thing, developed educational system canfoster more bussiness talents, with the knowledge and inspiration they acquire from school, a lot of them become entrepreneur and creat a great number of bussiness opportunities, most of the successfull bussiness men have great educational background like Bill Gates and Warren Buffett. Similarly，a developed educational system also provides medical students with advanced knowledge and abundant resource，which can better enable them to contribute to the development of medical care system.

大家有没有发现我给的例子比较模糊，因为我的逻辑理论上是成立的，但实际上很多商业大咖都是辍学的，比如比尔盖茨，被哈佛录取后读了一年就退学创业了，但时隔多年之后，2007年哈佛还是颁发毕业证给他了，所以说他有很好的educational background也没什么错。当然如果大家有更好的例子，就可以多加一些准确的细节，但由于时间的限制，sample answer这个长度已经足够了。

再看一道吧。

Which one of three occupations do you think is the hardest.

1. government worker

2. doctor

3. police officer. Please state your reasons with specific details.

这道题就是我说的有包含关系的选项。什么意思呢?

这三种工作，各有各的难处，责任大，难度大等等，但我们想想，是不是其中有一个工作包含了其他工作的难处，同时有其他工作所不具备的难处呢?我能想到police officer这个工作的safety，安全问题，相对另外两个工作会更严重一些，这样比较的点也就找到了。如果想不到别的理由，可以给一个具体的例子或者给一些细节论证来填充内容，为工作而牺牲的警察数不胜数，想到例证应该难度不大。

看看这个sample answer吧：

From where I'm standing, police officer is the hardest occupation. Undoutedly, each of these jobs has its own great responsibilty and difficulty, but relatively speaking, police officer is the most dangerous one. When they arrest criminals, the criminals might be combative and resistant, so it's highly likely for the police officers to get hurt, or even risk their lives. Statistics show thatthere are about 500 police officer sacrifice their lives each year in China, not to mention those who are injured, the number ofcasualties in total is heartbreaking.

当然不是所有三选一的题目都可以归到这两个类别里面来的，比如题目问你三种电影类型，你最不喜欢哪一种等等，类似这种特别主观的问题，无法通过找到三者的联系来比较，所以以上的思路也行不通。但这种题其实跟普通的open choices区别不大的，不一定非要比较，你只需要在表达的过程中多使用一些比较级，和"compare with"或unlike这种表示比较的短语，就ok啦。
