1. A类小作文

此图考的是橄榄油的制作流程图。补充关于流程图步骤的衔接短语：

首先：In the first stage/step、To begin/start with、First of all

接着：In the following stage、Afterward、From then on、after that

同时：At the same time、meanwhile、simultaneous

最后：In the final stage/At last/Finally/Eventually

2．A类大作文

题目：Today we are surrounded by all kinds of advertising and this is having an increasing effect on our lives. Do the positive effects of advertising outweigh the negative effects?

作文题型是传统的讨论优缺点类议论文，题材也是媒体广告类，算是考生比较不陌生的话题。作文结构也可以分成传统的四段式。

开头段：改写文章题目

中间段：

第一段：提出广告的优点

a.大多数消费者都是通过广告来获得信息的 Consumers/purchasers/shoppers acquire updated information of latest products through commercials, which serve as a bridge connecting consumers and manufacturers.

b.广告的作用是多样化的，例如它可以带动相关产业的发展，创造就业机会和经济价值 Advertisements play a wide range of diversified roles, such as promoting related industry, creating job opportunity and adding economic value.

第二段: 提出广告的缺点：However, there exists a slice of risks which cannot be ignored by public.

a. 很多广告都有虚假和欺骗性Commercials tend to exaggerate and mislead the consumers

b.可能会增加商品的成本 exert an increase on the costs of products，which is highly likely shifted to consumers.

结尾段：提出自己的观点，优点大于缺点，或者缺点大于优点，但一定要对优缺点进行比较，然后得出结论。比较的方法，以同意广告的优点大于缺点为例，可以是把优点的重要性再强调一下，或者说缺点可以通过立法或者宣传手段得以解决。
