雅思口语Part1:Weekends
Q1:Which weekend day do you prefer, Saturday or Sunday? (Why?)
A1:Definitely Saturday, when I often go shopping or outing with my family and friends. As for Sunday, well, all I can think about is that Monday is approaching; and I'd begin a week of hard work very soon.
Q2:Do you think people should be asked to work on weekends?
A2:Well, for people who work from Monday to Friday, it is simply ridiculous to ask them to continue on Saturdays and Sundays. However, for those who work shifts, like staff in shops and nurses in hospitals, I guess, it is just usual to work at weekends.
Q3:What do people in China do on the weekends?
A3:Well, it really depends. If you work, you may find weekends a good chance to relax yourself. You may go shopping or go outing. However, for high school students, this is not the case. Their weekends are always stuffed with cram school lessons and homework.
Q4::Do children today spend their weekends differently to children in the past?
A4:To some degree, yes. For example, though it has been a tradition for school students to work hard even on weekends,
today’s children often attend cram schools. In the past, however, kids mostly learned on their own. Besides, decades ago, children did outdoor activities.Nowadays, instead, most of them stay at home, watching telli or playing computer games.
