雅思口语Part1：Colour
Q1：Which colour do you like best?
A1：I really love blue. I like all tones of it. Actually I have my room painted in light blue; I wear denim a lot; My handbag is in royal blue; and even my phone case is in navy. I’m literally in a world of blue.
Q2：Why?
A2：Since blue is associated with calming and soothing, I believe it keeps me from being upset and helps me achieve the peace of mind. Also, the colour kind of keeps my mind clear cus it has a refreshing effect.
Q3：Is there any colour you don't like?
A3：Well I'd say red. Some people regard it as a symbol of warmth and passion, but it only makes me feel upset and anxious.
Q4：Is there any colour that has a different meaning in the Chinese culture and the Western culture?
A4：Yes.Take the white colour as an example. In western culture, white symbolizes the purity of love and is widely used in wedding ceremony whereas/while in our culture, it stands for loss of life so that we only use it in funeral.
Q5：Is colour very important when you shop for clothes?
A5：Yes, it is. I would always take into consideration whether the colour of the item would go well with that of the ones I've already had.
