托福听力conversation常见场景及词汇

托福听力的Conversation题目相对lecture来说比较简单，但是它的特点是语速快（point易漏），那么我们需要记下学生问答、自问自答、评论、例子和一些废话。以下是我从TPO总结的几个超高频的conversation场景和一些套路，并加上必备词汇。

图书馆：

要借书Check out books　
　　需要借书卡 admission card/library card
　　找书在什么区　history section/literature section
　　找书目的为了　paper/thesis论文/literature review文献综述
　　教授可以预留某书　put the book on reserve
　　要续借　renew a book   extend borrowing privileges　延长借书权限
　　如果书被召回　be recalled就得及时归还
　　超期要罚款　fine
　　馆际借书　Interlibrary loan service

作业：

作业Assignment类型：
　　Case study案例分析　Essay论文 Report报告
　　Group assignment/project　小组任务　Presentation陈述
　　作业遇到问题：
　　论文话题topic太宽broad——narrow down
　　格式要求format: Abstract/summary摘要Table of content目录Literature review文献综述
　　论文包含的部分：
　　• Introduction
　　• Body
　　• Conclusion
　　• Work cited/bibliography参考书目
　　• Footnote
　　来不及做 miss deadline：due/overdue需要申请延期ask the professor for an extension
　　论文第一轮初稿first draft给教授过目，教授提意见comment，学生deal with comments/revise，最后定稿final draft

　　学生与奖学金助学金相关的问题咨询工作人员。 ？
　　常见套路： 
　　（1）咨询奖学金的种类  （2）奖学金授予的资格：What can be inferred about the qualifications to apply for bursaries（助学金）? （3）如何申请奖学金 （4）奖学金申请的材料 （5）申请到奖学金的可能性  （6）奖学金的网站：What is the student most likely to do after this conversation? ？

选课：
　　课程类型（Lecture 讲座，seminar研讨会）：

　　3. 预修课prerequisite course（选高级课之前要修；大一大二的学分会成为你专业的prerequisite course）
　　学分Credit    完成要求fulfill the requirement

选课流程：注册register for/sign up for---加入enroll in
　　跟不上课要drop
　　要选适合自己的课程：先初级beginning level/intro course/introductory level再中级intermediate 后高级advanced/upper level
　　跟Chairperson商量怎么plan去fulfill requirement
