2014年3月托福口语考试独立题Task 1思路解析

I would like to talk about Chipao, an interesting style of clothes in China. To begin with, Chipaohas a long history and reflects Chinese culture. It is originated from the traditional clothes of Manchu people, who governed the country in Qing Dynasty.

It is always made of expensive silk and has many traditional Chinese patterns on it such as bamboo leaves and lotus flowers. What’s more, during 20th century, talented Chinese tailors combined some western elements with Chipao and made it more wearable in daily life.

Since then Chipao has become one of the most popular traditional clothes in China. Nowadays, young women would still choose to wear bright red Chipao in their wedding and other celebrations. And movies in which actresses wear different kinds of Chipaos are sold to everywhere in the world.

和2014-3-2的考题一样，独立题里的较难题型，事件题。在这类事件题里，学生非常容易陷入中文思维，会耗费时间想“我们的社区叫什么名字”“关爱孤寡老人、学雷锋用英语怎么说”，所以我们在准备的时候，要尽可能避免中文思路，尝试用最简洁、最接地气的动宾结构表达我们想做的事情。

请记住，我们的评分官是美国人，他们没有义务了解中国的社区活动背景，所以用一种外国人能够听懂的，强化我们具体所做事情、弱化学校要求的方式展开答题，对考生非常重要。

思路1 – take care of the elder citizens in the community

思路2 – plant trees and collect garbage around neighborhood

题干：2014-3-16 Describe a special friend in your childhood, why he or she is special to you?
　　题干：2014-3-22Describe how you met with one of your friends.
　　题干：2014-3-23 Describe a new activity that you want to do in the future.

三月后三场的考题，难度相对前三场有所降低。3月16日考了独立题里最入门，而且是考生练习最多的人物题。相信只要大家平时认真训练，应对这样的题目不成问题。3月22日在16日考题的基础上衍生出事件题，其实我们完全可以在已经熟悉的人物题上进行加工。
　　常用相遇场景为：一起打球合力赢得比赛、你英语好我数学强交流学习、新生开学第一个和我搭话等。3月23日考察了事件题，但是题目内容非常简单，可以用我们平时练习的new skill/ new subject替换，所以相信对一直有在上托福课程的学生来说，也是没有问题的。
