雅思阅读Summary题需要把握的三大逻辑

雅思阅读是当中比较容易拿分的选项，所以在做这一部分题目时，对于正确率要求也就比较高。所以在这一部分，老师也为大家多做一些介绍，本期讲解的是Summary题需要把握的三大逻辑，希望能给同学们带来帮助。

阅读Summary填空分为两种，一种是直接填写单词，一种是带选项的填空。与单句填空相比，summary通常由一个或几个自然段组成。作为段落，有它自己的句间逻辑和段间逻辑，这些逻辑也会体现在原文中，因此，在我们做题的时候把握好这些逻辑将对定位答案有很大帮助。

在summary审题时，我们至少需要把握这三种逻辑关系：转折、因果、举例

例如剑10的这道题：

The value attached to original works of art

People go to art museums because they accept the value of seeing an original work of art. But they do not go to museums to read original manuscripts of novels, perhaps because the availability of novels has depended on ___1____ for so long and also because with novels, ___2____ are the most important thing.

首句将人们去艺术博物馆的原因是欣赏原作。第二句话出现but这个明确的转折，以及两个because(因果关系)。很明显，我们要找的1和2就是人们不去博物馆读小说原稿的两个原因。

转折关系在原文中是这样体现的：However... few people would bother to go to a museum to read the writer’s actual manuscript rather than a printed reproduction.

而因果关系是：This might be explained by the fact that the novel has evolved precisely because of technological developments that made it possible to print out huge numbers of texts.

至此，我们发现第一个原因就是小说凭借着大规模印刷的技术而发展，因此答案为mass production。顺着向下找第二个原因就很容易了，原文用in addition引出了第二个原因：With novels, the reader attends mainly to the meaning of words rather than the way they are printed on the page. 对于小说，最重要的是meaning，因此答案选underlying ideas。

再来看summary的第二段：

However, in historical times artists such as Leonardo were happy to instruct __3_____ to produce copies of their work and these days new methods of reproduction allow excellent replication of surface relief features as well as colour and ___4____.

段首就是转折，提出艺术品在历史上也可以有复制品。句内还有such as这个举例标志词，但注意这里只是对artists举例，谓语动词were happy to instruct的主语依然是artists(Leonardo只是其中之一)。

对应原文：Yet it has always been possible to make very accurate facsimiles of pretty well any fine art of work…artists seemed perfectly content to assign the reproduction of their creations to their workshop apprentices. 艺术家把复制作品的工作分配给学徒。因此答案选assistants.

最后一小节的转折体现在regrettable这个语气词上：

It is regrettable that museums still promote the superiority of original works of art, since this may not be in the interests of the ____5___ .

遗憾的是，博物馆仍然在推进原作的优越性。since这里不是“自从”而是“因为”。

对应原文：Unfortunately, this seems to place severe limitations on the kind of experience offered to visitors. “this”指代上一句中的 “museum still promotes the special status of original work.

博物馆的这种做法是不符合参观者利益的，因此答案选public。

evolve v. 进化

content adj. 满足的

instruct v. 命令，指示

assign…to…把……(任务)分配给……

be in the interest of… 符合……的利益
