雅思听力中的好多考点都涉及到固定搭配，例如：

题目：a person interviewed in the street

原文：I thought you might also be interested in some of the problems I encountered in collecting my data. There were odd cases that threw me--one of the subjects who I had approached while he was out shopping in town, decided topull out when it came to the second round. It was a shame as it was someone who I would like to have interviewed more closely.

如果不知道pull out是“退出”的意思，就很难选出stop participating这个选项，所以一定要精细化雅思学习，多积累词组和相关词汇。

以下是C8-10 听力中的核心固定搭配，好好整理下来吧。

1. come across 碰到，偶然发现

I went to the library this afternoon to have a look at a newspaper and I came across something really interesting.

我下午去了图书馆看看，然后看见一些非常有意思的东西。

2. in regard to关于

In regard to opening hours, we're open every day of the week from 9.00 am to 8.00 pm except on Mondays when we close at 1.30 pm.

关于开放时间，除了周一是下午1:30关闭，其他时间都是早上9:00到晚上8:00。

3. as far as 就。。。而言

As far as the amount of time you'll need goes, if you bring a school group you should plan on allowing a minimum of 90 minutes for the visit.

4. train of一系列

It's quite hard to follow your train of thought at times.
