托福口语论述

托福口语其中重要的评分标准之一就是论据展开的能力（topic development），需要学生有一定的逻辑展开来进行论述. 本次来讲解论述的基本概念：句子的功能

首先要熟知句子的三种基本功能：

1. 作为论点句

2. 作为论述句

3. 作为推进句

a. 其中论点句就是开始提出的基本观点，如“I think it is better for students to live on campus rather than off campus”

b. 论述句就是来进一步来论述上面论点的内容，给出一个基本的reason来支持自己的观点,这个理由可以是较具有逻辑紧密性的（比如

because I think it can provide students with the safe campus environment）;也可以是不具备较为紧密的逻辑的（比如：

I think students can make more friends in this way）；还可以是一个个人的例子或者研究发现（personal example or research findings）

c. 推进句: 当论点句使用了逻辑不紧密的论述时候：例如上文

“I think it is better for students to live on campus rather than off campus because think students can make more friends in this way”这时候需要加入一个推进句使得“live on campus”和

“make more friends”逻辑更为紧密的连接起来，比如“if students live on campus, they are able to have more opportunities to meet a lot of students with whom they can communciate”

三种句子的熟练使用是强化论述能力的核心。
