托福综合写作的限时阅读方法

托福综合写作要求限时阅读，3分钟时间内阅读一篇230-300词的短文，对于英语基础一般的学生来讲，这无疑是个挑战，很难在规定时间内读完并理解文章，同时总结出要点。阅读任务无法完成毫无疑问增加了听力的难度，因此如何快速有效的读懂文章是写好综合的必要条件，今天山西新通外语李老师就来讲讲阅读的方法。

我们先来看首段阅读的要点，通常情况下文章的第一段由三个要素组成，背景句，话题，以及作者观点。找到这三个信息第一段的阅读也就完成了。下面看一个例子。

In the United States, employees typically work five days a week for eight hours each day. However, many employees want to work a four-day week and are willing to accept less pay in order to do so. A mandatory policy requiring companies to offer their employees the option of working a four-day workweek for four-fifths (80 percent) of their normal pay would benefit the economy as a whole as well as the individual companies and the employees who decided to take the option. 从这个例题可以看出，首段内容了解后，文章的脉络也就清晰了。
