To gain success in our future career, we must have solid knowledge of the field we choose. Under this circumstance, doing hard at school is the best way to quip ourselves with background knowledge. Although sometimes we may find things we have studied at school sort of unpractical, it is basic to handle real problems at work. Take my idol, Bernadette,  as an example: she is a co-worker with Penny in cheesecake factory. However, unlike Penny, Bernadette knows what she wants to be and sticks to her dream. As a result, she doesn’t pay as much attention to communicating with others as Penny does; rather, she tries her best to make every minute count to finish her dissertation. Eventually, she gets her doctor degree and finds a high-paying job. We can see from this case that we should spare no effort to absorb knowledge , while only focusing on communicating with others contributes little to the future job.
