雅思口语备考——表示时间的介词

雅思口语考试中，有很多关于事件事实的描述，时间地点的表述是必不可少的，总是会有学生问：老师是这是用in还是on还是at来着，那我们今天就一起回到初中的课堂上集中学习一下介词on, in, at的用法吧！

一、表示时间

on的用法

表示具体的日期，on+日， on+月日， on+年月日

He was born on the fifth of July.

表示在具体的某一天

on the morning/afternoon/evening/night of… on Sunday morning

表示星期 on Monday

表示在公共节日里 on New Year’s Day

表示在周末 I usually go swimming with my friend on weekends.

at的用法

at表示时间用于钟点时刻前, at noon, at night, at this time of the day

The class begins at seven o’clock.

表示年龄用at

My sister got married at the age of 25.

in的用法

in表示时间，用于泛指一天的上午、下午、晚上等;用于某个较长的时间，如年、月、季节等

We watch TV in the morning/afternoon/evening/the daytime.

He went to China in 1996.

in还可以表示“从现在起一段时间以后”。如：

They will depart in a week.

in the road (英) / on the road (美)

in the team (英) / on the team (美)

at the weekend (英) / on the weekend (美)

at weekends (英) / on weekends (美)

二、表示地点、场所、位置

at表示地点

用于指较小的地方

I shall wait for you at home/the station.

The hospital is at the end of the street.

与名词所有格连用表示地点，也用 at

at my sister’s 在我姐姐家 at the doctor’s 在医务室

用于门牌号码前He lives at 15 Hongjun Road.

in表示地点：

用于指较大的地方He lives in Shanghai.

但是，大与小是相对的，有时随着说话者的着眼点不同，大地方也可能用 at,虽然是很小的地方，如果说话人住在那里，也可用in。商店、学校、机关等，若看作一个地点用at，若看作一个场所用in

I met him at the post-office.

I’m now working in the post-office.

on表示地点，一般指与面或线接触，主要指在某物的表面,意为“在……上;在……旁”

The picture was hanging on the wall.

New York is on the Hudson River.

There’s a wallet lying on the ground.

TIP 在某些搭配中，三者的区别与英国英语和美国英语有关：

in the street (英) / on the street (美)
