Q2. Are there any problems of it then?
A2. Yes, there could be serious problems. Early athletic training usually starts in childhood, but it may not only cause injurie, but also interfere with normal growth of children because it put stresses to every parts of their body-- their bones, heart, lungs, and muscles, etc. It may also impair his or her psychological and social development.
Q3. Some people think that competition leads to a better performance from sports stars. Others think it just makes players feel insecure. What is your opinion?
A3: I don’t think competition would mean much a problem for sports stars. As a sports star, one must know that most sports are, in essence, competitive. All over the years he or she must have been accustomed to all kinds of competitions. He or she is just expected to be tough enough to play perfectly under pressure. He or she knows very well how to cope with stresses, make use of them and give better performance.
