雅思口语Part1:Cycling
Q1:Do you ever ride a bicycle?
A1:Yeah I do. And actually I cycle a lot everyday cus I’m living on a huge campus and I really need a bicycle to get about. I pedal here and there from the school buildings and the libraries to the supermarket and the student gym.
Q2:How old were you when you first learned to ride a bicycle?
A2:It was when I was 8. I remember clearly that it was a sunny day and I was with my father. He showed me how he balanced when pedaling and then let me have a try. At first it was so hard that I just fell down again and again and I even thought of giving up. Anyway, eventually I made it through and cycling has been a part of my life now.
Q3:What kinds of people ride bicycles do you think?
A3:Most people ride a bicycle for it is an effective and efficient way of transport, especially for short to mediate distances. And, if you cycle, you almost always avoid traffic congestions and you never worry about parking.But there are also some who take up cycling for a different reason. They regard it as a kind of physical exercise which burns fat and gives them a lean body.Others like fixie lovers just feel it a lot of fun when padeling.
Q4:Are bicycles popular in China?
A4:I would say a definite ‘yes’. According to the national statistics bureau,there are over 370 million people in China who use bicycles as their main way of transport.
