7月托福口语预测一： If you were to study a new form of art, which would you choose? Wood sculpture, portrait painting, or photography?

该题型是独立口语TASK1里比较特殊的三选一题型。做题的第一步是迅速找出你想描述的对象，大家选择方向时，希望以“是否容易展开”作为标准，而不是“个人是否喜欢”作为标准。原因很简单，比如这道题的第一个选项，Wood sculpture，很多同学可能会真实地对它感兴趣，但是极少有同学会选择说Wood sculpture，因为我们本身对这个项目不了解，很难展开。

范文答案里，老师选择的是第三项，photography。第一个原因是，摄影在日常生活中是非常有用的，尤其是在旅游的时候，我们希望用照片记录下不同国家的风土人情，归来后把照片印出来挂在房间里也是很好的记忆，如果考生能加入一个具体旅行的目的地进行展开，就能更好的获得细节分了。第二个原因是，相比较另外两项艺术技巧，摄影更容易一些，你不需要使用刀锯之类危险的工具，也不需要有良好的绘画基本功，所以学习的时间也会更短，更方便上手。

　　(Details and examples)You know, wood sculpture requires people to use knives, which can be dangerous, while portrait painting needs some basic knowledge of drawing. I have poor drawing skills since I was in elementary school, so I think it is wise not to try it now.

7月托福口语预测二： A friend of yours wants to make a big purchase but does not have enough money. What would you suggest your friend do to get extra money?

该题是建议类的题目，今年来对于建议类，考察的次数有所增加，比如2014-2015年的考试中，出现过“如果你的朋友想要从大学休学，你会给他什么建议？”以及“如果你的朋友想要提高成绩，你会给他什么建议？”

本题的关键词在于“make a big purchase but does not have enough money”，即想买东西却没有足够的钱，我们可以从生活实际出发，考虑一下，如果我们在日常生活中遇到这样的问题，我们会怎么办呢？年级稍大一些的考生很容易想到信用卡，因为信用卡是允许消费者提前透支，然后经过一段时间再还账的，那么如果是初中生或是没有使用过相关业务的考生，说“borrow money from the bank”，也是可以的。当然，提前支付的钱也需要有收入来补上，这个时候可以用几个例子来表明，我们可以通过做兼职工作来赚钱，细节分也可以拿到了。

During the period, he can do some part-time jobs to earn money, such as an assistant in the library or a waitress in a local restaurant. They are easy jobs that can provide him with some income while doesn’t takes him a lot of time.

(Reason 2)Moreover, if the product really costs so much that the credit card is not enough to pay for the product, I am willing to offer him some cash.
(Details and examples)As an old saying goes, a friend in need is a friend indeed. I would cherish my relationship with my friend. So if he really needs the product, I can lend him some money. And I’m sure I can collect the money later since we are good friends.

7月托福口语预测三：Describe a present you have given to others.

算是物品题里的经典题了，然而还是有很多同学说不好。对于觉得类似题目难的同学，我的方法是，思考一下题干，你为什么要送给这个“人”这个“物品”。没错，我们一方面可以花20秒左右的时间陈述一下这个物品本身的实用价值，另一方面可以用20秒钟强调一下我和这个人（可以是朋友、家长、老师、同事）的关系，以及我送这个礼物对于我们关系的提升有什么作用。

Sample Answer:

(Topic Sentence)Several months earlier, I gave a e-book reader to my best friend in high school, Jane.

(Reason 1)First of all, Jane is a good student who really like reading different kinds of books, so I think this present will help her a lot.

(Details and examples)While the paper books are usually very heavy and big, the e-book reader is very light so it can be taken to anywhere we want, so we can read anywhere too, such as in the dining hall, on the bus, or in the coffee shop. We can also download thousands of books on the Internet for free, so we can gain more knowledge out of it.

(Reason 2)Moreover, Jane and I have been best friends since we were 10 years old. I really want the present can remind her of our friendship.
(Details and examples)In the coming several months, I am leaving this country to study in the US. We can’t see each other for a long time. So maybe this e-book reader can make her think of me. And we can contact each other and still be good friends.
