  雅思阅读拿不了高分,烤鸭们往往会认为是自己词汇量不够,而通过长期教学发现,最重要额原因其实是考生对于雅思阅读长难句理解不到位。今天主要是给烤鸭们解析一下剑桥雅思阅读文章里的长难句。

在教授雅思阅读的这些年来,经常会发现,学生们其实不是缺乏词汇,恰恰相反,学生的词汇量还是相当大的。但是为何还是拿不了高分,或者得不到自己理想的分数呢?

当然对题型的把握和出题规律的了解是很大的一方面,但是我认为,最重要的一方面,是学生对雅思阅读中长难句的理解,是他们止步7分甚至7分以上的重要原因。所以,今天主要是给烤鸭们解析一下剑桥雅思阅读文章里的长难句,注意学会举一反三,日后自己精读和复习雅思阅读中也参考这一模式。

1. These methods include strength training that duplicates what they are doing in their running events as well as plyometrics, a technique pioneered in the former Soviet Union. (剑4, test4 passage 1)

分析:本句的主句为“These methods include strength training”;“that duplicates what they are doing in their running events as well as plyometrics”为定语从句,做“strength training”的定语,关系词为that;“what they are doing in their running events as well as plyometrics”为宾语从句,由what引导;“a technique pioneered in the former Soviet Union”为plyometrics的同位语。

雅思阅读毕竟不是语法课,一定的语法知识也是我们能够节约时间,拿高分的必备条件。不需要有多么高深的语法技能,至少能够又快又准确的解析句子,争取时间拿高分。
