一、SAT写作篇章方面：

1. 认真审题，确保自己是围绕题目所给的话题展开论述的。这一点是最基本也是最重要的要求，因为跑题意味着你只能拿到零分。
　　2. 清楚地表达自己的观点。你可以在心里给自己设问：“What do I want people to understand when they finish reading my essay?”这个问题的答案就是你的观点，也就是全文的论点。
　　3. 花几分钟的时间列提纲。列出你要从哪几个方面或哪几点去证明你的观点，并理顺它们之间的逻辑关系。好的提纲有助于你迅速打开思路，顺利写作，并保证论述紧扣主题。

1. SAT写作句式要富于变化。这要求你必须了解简单句(Simple sentences)、并列句(Compound sentences)和复合句(Complex sentences)这三类句法结构的相关知识，并能运用自如。如：
　　① My best friend lives two blocks away from me. (Simple sentence)
　　② My best friend lives two blocks away from me, but her house is much nicer than mine. (Compound sentence)
　　③ Although my best friend lives two blocks away from me, I don’t go to
　　her house very often. (Complex sentence)
　　高分论文几乎都具备句式多样化这一特征，因为句式的变化会使文章更加吸引人，也更便于阅读。

2. SAT写作用词要清晰、准确、恰当，避免使用抽象和模糊的词或表达。比较下面两句：
　　① The place where we stopped to eat was full of people dressed up more than we were.
　　② The restaurant where we stopped for lunch was full of men wearing jackets and ties and women wearing suits and dresses——a noticeable contrast to our jeans and T-shirts.
　　尽管①句语法正确，但过于笼统，读者并不能明白到底作者说了些什么;而②句使用了更加具体、准确的词，如restaurant，lunch，jackets等，使读者头脑中有清晰的形象感，当然就具备更好的交际功能。

3. 要留点时间复查SAT写作论文。复查时，快速通读论文，改正一些明显的小错误——也许是某个词用得不太恰当，又或许是某个句子的结构还有问题……总之，尽可能及时纠正那些复查时发现的错误。
